From the organizers:

"Join us on November 6 for the “Bonn Organoid Symposium 2024“!

With seven invited speakers, short talks and a poster session, we expect a full day of presentations, discussions and networking opportunities around organoids and other 3D culturing systems in multiple application cases.

Implementing more complex model systems is crucial to understand biological phenomena, function and diseases. Organoids and other 3D culturing systems increase physiological relevance in basic research by providing more relevant context and more complex and tissue-like cellular composition and might potentially bridge the gap between animal models and cell culture in order to Reduce, Refine and Replaceanimal experiments. Additionally, the complex 3D cell models offer new avenues for disease modeling and personalized treatment approaches. We hope that this symposium will lay the foundation for a fruitful exchange and onset of new collaborations.
